Line Up – SASSI HOLFORD Designer wedding Dress Catwalk 2019
It is unlike us to share a post with you mid-week, unless it is REALLY worthy. And this one really is.
I personally like so many different styles of wedding dresses ( this is why, when we planned our wedding 5 years ago, we changed our wedding theme 4 times!). I am a huge fan of free-spirited bohemian bridal look, which is everywhere at the moment. I also like some lace wedding dresses and I can certainly appreciate why some brides still opt for that Princess style bridal gowns. However personally, I was always drawn to a very simple, sophisticated and (dare I say!) plan ( but well tailored!) wedding dresses. You can even see my Dream Wedding Dress Pinterest board from AGES ago! The wedding dress I have chosen was very simple, no frills wedding dress which I still adore to this day. The only thing I would consider changing would be how I styled and accessorised my wedding look.
So when I watched the Royal Wedding back in May and saw Meghan Marke step out in her super simple wedding dress I was in awe. Her look was so sophisticated, timeless and SO chic. To this day, I am feeling thankful to Meghan for putting simple and sophisticated wedding dresses on firmly the map for at least next few years.

SASSI HOLFORD | 2019 Enchanted Collection
Here is how the designer herself described her 2019 collection:
Sassi Holford’s captivating 2019 Enchanted Collection is inspired by nature and romance and focuses on texture and light.
Designed to reflect the many facets of the Sassi Holford bride, the collection remains true to classic Sassi Holford tradition – celebrating the female form and enhancing the bride’s unique individuality.
Sassi’s creative development for these new designs began with sourcing exciting new fabrics from across Europe. Matching these new textures with soft, feminine shapes has created gowns with a truly magical essence which reveal the hidden fairytale romantic inside every bride. Embellished and floral tulles, 3D waffle fabrics, feathers and brocades are combined with delicate sparkle sequins, pearls and lace for dresses that have ‘soft impact’ whilst retaining the essential femininity of the wedding gown.
Key design elements include laser cut appliqué, understated embellishments, unique back details and plunging necklines. Silhouettes range from dramatic soft tulle ball gowns, through playful tiered skirts to figure hugging fishtails, reflecting the romantic theme of the collection.
