The recycling savvy, and style focused Claire & Nigel moved to North Norfolk back in 2011 and never looked back since. This was the beginning for the Wedding Wheels-next-the-Sea – their wedding car hire business with three beautiful 60’s wedding cars and new renovation project to revive the Control Tower and start a small B&B Business.
Ni and Claire met in 1993 whilst studying for an Environmental Science Degree in London. Together they have kindled a passion for 20th Century style especially modernism and art deco design, a passion that fits very well with their eco principles of reduce, reuse and recycle. They moved to Norfolk when they bought the Control Tower in October 2011 with the aim of setting up not only their home but also a new shared livelihood of a small unique Art Deco B&B alongside their wedding car hire service with their 3 British classic cars of the 60s.

This was a dream come true as not only did the Control Tower fit their desire to own a modernist building it also awakened a desire to understand its place in history; they have become as passionate about its past as they are about its future…
Why here.?… neither are strangers to the area as Ni’s Mum is from Sheringham and holidayed here together with their son – Cillian, for 20 odd years. Claire fell in love with North Norfolk since she first arrived in their Hillman Super Minx back in 1994 to a holiday cottage in Binham for Ni it was always like coming home.
One of their greatest rewards is the opportunity of sharing with others what they feel so lucky to have. They also appreciate that what they offer is not everybody’s cup of tea but if you like vintage style, a slower pace and things just a bit out of the ordinary then you have found the right place.
