We have started 2015 with a bang – a record number of you have visited our Norfolk Brides wedding directory and wedding blog, many wedding enquiries for our suppliers & plenty of wedding shows – both attended, organised and supported by Norfolk Brides.
We love to support local wedding suppliers and spread the love – that’s how it works, right? *wink wink*
Norfolk Brides Wedding Fair at Great Yarmouth Town Hall
It was our 2nd wedding fair at the gorgeous newly refurbished Great Yarmouth Town Hall that took place couple of weeks ago. The hall was once again filled with some of the most amazing wedding suppliers from Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas showcasing their businesses, work and products.
The complimentary Norfolk Brides wedding magazines were a huge hit among visiting couples and it was great to see hundreds of people coming along in search for ideas when planning their wedding in Norfolk. With most of the exhibitors securing bookings on the day we are already planning our 2016 wedding show at the Town Hall.
The team would like to say a huge Thank You to Raymond, the Gentleman Photographer, for capturing some of our wonderful exhibitors at the event. And, of course a BIG Thank You goes to all involved, from the awesome Town Hall Team, to our exhibitors and couples who came to see us despite awfully cold day and pouring rain!
A Most Curious Wedding Fair at St Andrews House Norwich
Norfolk Brides were one of the proud sponsors of the Most Curious Wedding Fair that took place at St Andrews Hall in Norwich (which is also a fabulous wedding venue!) with somewhat an eclectic mix of urban, vintage and alternative wedding suppliers from Norfolk and across the country.
Disappointingly we couldn’t attend the event on the day, but we have seen the gorgeous images by Cat from Seahaze Photography who has kindly allowed us to share her snaps with you. They are blooming beautiful and all that you could expect from the joint efforts of the Most Curious Team!
Wedding Prom & Party Wedding Show in Norwich
Last Sunday has seen two wedding shows in Norwich – #AMCWF and the long standing & well established ( and very much loved!) wedding show at the Sprowston Manor organised by the fabulous lady that Lindsey Pointer is.
From the fantastic reviews on their Facebook page, I can only assume that the event was a great success and Lindsey has don it once again!
Congratulations and well done! We love seeing lovely independent wedding businesses doing well!
The Somerleyton Hall Wedding Show 2015
I must say, the three independent wedding shows that we love so much has been and gone with a bang, kick-starting the 2015 wedding planning in style!
BUT it is not yet over – we have a number of great wedding fairs coming up in Norfolk in the next few months – including several NEW independent wedding shows in Norwich, Dereham and King’s Lynn! And of course, we are absolutely thrilled to confirm that our wedding show at the stunning private country estate at Somerleyton will be opening its doors for the first time on Sunday, 29th March between 10am – 3pm.
We will be making an official announcement in the next few days, but boy, do we have some great competitions for you!
Would you like some sneaky details? Okay – listen up…
When attending the wedding show you may get a chance to register to WIN a FREE WEDDING ceremony at the Somerleyton Hall with wedding packages and offers from various wedding suppliers tallying up to around 5000 already!
How about THAT for a wedding prize? Sounds good to us too, so be sure to stay in touch and come back to visit us soon for more details to be revealed very soon!
If you are an exhibitor that has something cool to offer – TALK TO US – there are a few exhibitors spaces available, but hurry – most of the categories are now filled!
It certainly has been a very busy wedding show season so far and there is no end in sight just yet!
In case you get a sparkly diamond on your finger this Valentines day – be sure to check out some of the lovely independent wedding shows in Norfolk for some wedding planning inspiration.
Will we be seeing you soon? We certainly hope so!
