Last Sunday, Norfolk has seen one of the newest and most exciting wedding events around with the very first Oxnead Wedding Show taking place at a brand new wedding venue near Aylsham. See some stunning images from the event supplied by the fab Raymond Taylor and check out the first glimpses of the Norfolk Brides Magazine!
Firstly, I must apologise - I know my last blog post was published on 30th of August! That is nearly two months ago!
I have been extremely consumed with the several projects all happening all at once including the Norfolk Brides Magazine and planning the first ever wedding show at Oxnead Hall. Despite my best efforts, I struggled to find time to do everything and since I didn't want to post half heartedly, I felt it was best to leave it and get back in to it once things calm down a little. So here I am - very happy to be getting in to the blogging scene - watch out for some fab posts coming your way soon!
The Oxnead Wedding Show
Where do I begin?
A mahoosive 'Thank You' goes to you all for making it a such fabulous event. It is certainly one of THE best wedding shows we have done to date with around 300 couples and over 700 people coming to see us last Sunday.
We couldn't have done it without the help and support from Jaymi & her team at Unique Norfolk Venues on behalf of Beverly & David Aspinall who owns this gorgeous estate.
We were blessed with a glorious weather on the day. The sun was shining as the couples wandered in the stunning country house gardens while enjoying the glass of prosecco and elderflower listening to some wonderful classical music.
Even a small hiccup with the car parking opened the venue to be discovered by the visitors as they found their way to the registration and main show space.
Our exhibitors worked really hard to present their businesses - their stands looked absolutely fabulous, with most having some competitions, freebies and tasters.
Do check out some stunning images by Raymond Taylor who spared a few hours of his day to capture our event ( although we had to wait for a quieter times as it did get too busy to be able to get in!).
Oh, and before I forget - check out this great post by one of our Brides'-to-be Siobhan about her experience at the Oxnead Wedding Show. What a fabulous review shining a light on our exquisite exhibitors - Thank You!
Once again - a HUGE thanks to everyone - we had a blast and we hope you did too!
Norfolk Brides Magazine // Issue No2.
I will write a separate post about the magazine and what you can expect to find inside it, but before I do that - I must thank the team who helped to make it happen - Sophie & Lee of Just Regional, our contributors and advertisers and of course the couples who submitted their weddings ( a whooping 16 of them!). Another person that I must mention and thank for is Annie of Jolly Good Designs who worked tirelessly to make our second issue look absolutely fantastic.
We have only received a mall mount of the publication on the morning of the show ( Sunday, 11th October) therefore there is a small delay in getting the publication out to the distribution points. Couples who attended the wedding show all had a chance to pick up their copy and we have had some fantastic feedback already! The pre-ordered copies has also been posted earlier in the week and we will give you a full magazine distribution list with the dates from when you can pick up your FREE mag from.
If you don't fancy waiting for the next issue of the magazine you can ORDER IT ONLINE and get it delivered to your door!
It's arrived!!! Very honoured to have been asked to feature in the 'real weddings' section of @norfolkbrides.co.uk magazine. We thought our little wedding day at @dairybarns was pretty special and it's thanks to the beautiful images that @tatum_reid captured of the day that we were approached.
It is so great to see that all of that hard work is worth it in the end - I loved working on both the wedding show and the magazine. I genuinely cannot wait to tell you more about the publication and other wedding shows that we are working on at the moment.
Watch out for more details soon.
