We love the new blood in the hood from time to time and the fab photography duo from Lock & Corson are just that. It is nice to see someone who loves to celebrate individuality and combines it the right setting to feature it at it’s best.
I am excited to share with you another gorgeous styled collaboration between some great local wedding suppliers, who joined their forces one afternoon at Fishley Hall - one of the most beautiful, unspoilt wedding barns in Norfolk. Here's their story and the beautiful results.
“The shoot came about from our love of rustic and alternative styles. We love to see something a little bit quirky and unique to show off couples own personalities. We both visit wedding fairs when we can, to learn from, and meetlike minded people. So far, we have met many amazing suppliers (and now friends) along the way. We first met Candice, who introduced us to Fishley Hall at the Great Yarmouth Wedding fair. Their beautiful stall started our imagination going with ideas for the relaxed rustic look and the idea for this shoot was born.”
“We then spoke to our close friend Deb, from Hairsmiths, who helped us recreate our vision of a rustic shoot, with a modern and alternative twist. We were looking for a real couple to model for us, hoping that the chemistry and their bond would make the imagery look genuine and natural. We asked our friend Rozz, if her and her partner to be involved, and luckily, they were happy to give it a go.”
“We recently photographed at the Norwich Fashion Week Hair Show where we fell in love with the dresses supplied by Big C charity. After a few emails after the show they were excited about the shoot and wanted to collaborate with us in order to make it happen, and also, raise awareness of their bridal range (check it out here). “
“We found Ambers Rose at The Most Curious Wedding Fair back in March. We were blown away by Amber Rose’s floral arrangements and knew we had to get them involved. We sent them across a few ideas of what we imagined, and they astounded us with the end result. This has been a first big styled shoot as Lock & Corson. It took months of planning and preparation, endless hours spent on Pinterest looking for more inspiration and even more time spent in Norwich shopping for props!”
“The aim was to create a collection of images, that represented our love and passion for rustic styles that we’ve seen around Norfolk. Everywhere you look it’s easy to be inspired by Norwich, from our adventures to Earlham Park followed by afternoon tea in Biddy’s Tea room, then spending the evening at The Playhouse. There is an abundance of artistic touches all over the city that we are so lucky to be a part of.
We cannot thank the amazing team we had involved enough; this shoot would not have become what it did without them. For us, collaboration is key for creative minds and to meet new and wonderful people. And we cannot wait to work with these brilliant people again in the future.”
